Onion rings work well on everything - burgers, hotdogs, salads, pancakes, donuts...Ok fine. Maybe not everything. But they do work beautifully when they're paired with pizza, especially when your pizza is made with a CAULIPOWER crust. So put on your apron, grab some extra breath mints, and prepare to be amazed by this wonderful cauli-creation!

Vegetarian Gluten-Free

Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower Pizza Crusts
  • 7-8 frozen gluten-free onion rings
  • Dash of olive oil
  • 10 small leek rings
  • 10 small shallots rings
  • 10 small red onion rings
  • 1/2 cup scallion rings
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/4 pound fresh mozzarella, shredded
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bake frozen onion rings for about half the recommended cook time and then set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  3. Remove your CAULIPOWER crust from the box and the plastic wrapping, and place on a clean surface
  4. Brush olive oil evenly over your CAULIPOWER crust.
  5. Arrange leek rings, shallot rings, red onion rings, and half of your scallion rings evenly over your crust. Top with pre-baked onion rings.
  6. Sprinkle your onion pizza delight with salt and pepper to taste, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges of crust are golden brown.
  7. Remove your pizza creation from the oven and top with your leftover scallion rings. If you're feeling saucy, serve pizza with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
