This recipe is perfect for patrons who are looking for a truly CAULIPOWERful option. With a fresh beschamel sauce as the base and colorful cauliflower florets as the toppings, this cauli-licious pie is what cauliflower-lovers dream of. 

Ingredients

CAULIPOWER Plain Crust

cup All Purpose Flour

cups milk
Pinch of nutmeg

lb. shredded fresh mozzarella

basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

cup cauliflower florets (4 colors)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1

For Bechamel sauce: Melt butter over medium heat in a large sauce pan. Add in all-purpose flour and let simmer until golden. Slowly whisk in milk and let it simmer until thick roux (about 10-20 mins). Add a pinch of salt and nutmeg, stir for 1 minute, and remove sauce from heat.

Step 2

Remove your CAULIPOWER crust from the box, plastic wrapping and cardboard, and place on a clean surface

Step 3

Spread your homemade Bechamel sauce evenly over your CAULIPOWER plain crust 

Step 4

Sprinkle shredded, fresh mozzarella cheese over your crust

Step 5

Slice your colorful cauliflower florets in small pieces and spread evenly over your crust

Step 6

Sprinkle your crust with basil, salt and pepper to taste, and bake for 12 - 15 mins or until crust appears golden brown
